Resetting Daily Data on Mseries Auto

Post by LavenderMist » Thu Oct 18, 2007 1:04 pm

I am wondering if you can reset the daily stats so that you only get the current day. If so, does it affect the data on the smart card? I know I'm full of questions today. I tried searching about it and didn't find the answer. I wish I had my card reader now and then I wouldn't have to ask this question. I guess I'm like a kid with a new toy. I'm so excited that I actually asked for a got an auto to replace cpap.

Den, thank you so much. I don't know how I missed it as the post was so recent. I guess my search terms weren't good enough to find it.

Yes you can clear data, but it will clear everything except blower hours I think. To do it like you do to get into the clinical set up. Unplug, hold the 2 arrow buttons and plug in wait for 2 beeps then release. Press the Rt. arrow key until you get to the Therapy Menu. Hold down the minus key for 4 to 5 seconds. Should clear everything. Press the On/Off button to exit set up mode. Should not clear the card but remove it before you do this just in case.

Usually a more effective way to search for anything on this message board is to not use the "Search" button at the top.

Instead (this cool tip came from blarg and College Girl) do this:

Go to google.com

Type in some words for what you want to search for and add this to it:

site:cpaptalk.com

For example, try this in a google search --

reset data M site:cpaptalk.com

First link in what Google turned up found it.
ResMed S9 VPAP Auto (ASV)
Humidifier: Integrated + Climate Control hose
Mask: Aeiomed Headrest (deconstructed, with homemade straps
3M painters tape over mouth

Oops Jerry, I already followed the instructions and cleared before I saw your post. The smartcard was still in the machine. I hope it didn't lose info on the smart card. I guess that could get me in a heap of trouble if dr wants to see smart card data.

Restedgal, thank you for the search tip. You are so helpful to everyone on the board. I really appreciate all you do.

Since I called the insurance company and found out that this is a rental for now until it caps and is mine, I don't think I'll be erasing anything any more. The DME would probably flip if he came out and saw I had been messing with the clinical menu. I did call the doctor to see if he requires download of the smart card. The nurse will call me back tomorrow and let me know what he says. He is my primary care doctor and knows I've been on cpap, so he may not require it. I'll still download the info for my own use once I get the smart card reader.

Make for sure you know what you will be paying for the machine, if anything. don't thake anything for granted, get it in writing. Jim
