Obstructive sleep apnoea patients without any cardiovascular disease seem to develop left ventricular systolic and diastolic dysfunction, which may be reversed, either partially or completely, after 6 months of continuous positive airway pressure treatment.

I have damage to my heart wihich my cardiologist says is directly from
OSA. Without a sophisticated test, I wouldn't have known it, as I
can run on a treadmill for 45 minutes, with no heart symptoms.
