Got Snot?

Post by Kharris » Thu Oct 04, 2007 1:37 pm

I seem to have plenty.
Last night was my first night. I didn't wash the new hose good enough, and
the rubbery plastic smell made my nose run, the pressure--sweet 16--would
make it drain into the back of my throat, making me cough. I turned the
humidity up and that helped.
If you cough wearing a nasal mask, suddenly you can't breath until you shut
your mouth. I gave up about midnight, but put it back on early in the morning.
The second time I put it on, I forgot the ramp button, but after a couple of minutes breathing against the pressure I got used to it and it wasn't a big
deal.
One bonus to c-pap, we have a 16 pound 19year old cat, he likes to sleep
with me because I put off more body heat than my wife. Some times he
is a gassy cat. Heard it never did smell it. .
Sorry, sometimes the truth is gross.

Ewwwww, Gross ~~~ Not me, I have EXTREME dryness in the nose and always have, so I never have snot I always thought dryness was a bad thing but after reading your experience, I think I would prefer to stick with what I have I have never had to buy or use klenex but for just a handful of times in my life, the only time my nose runs is if I throw up or gag real hard for instance brushing my tongue, ick......

Don't let the cat sleep near the air intake of your machine!
