Pressure 20 - Good Masks?

Post by Rooster Remote » Thu Oct 04, 2007 9:36 am

Using a F&P432 and a Quattro on alternate nights. Straps adjusted lightly and a thick cotton ball fastened with Bandaid to bridge of nose underneath mask. Still developing a bad sore on bridge of nose.

Cannot get Hybrid adjusted to handle 20 cm.

Will Swift nasal pillows work with this high pressure? I will have to tape mouth if I try this route.

Machine setting 18-20cm, A-Flex setting 3.

I use Swift nasal pillows with a pressure of 16 and it works well for me. I would suggest using something to moisturize the insides of your nostrils. I personally use nasal saline gel but others use lanolin or a host of other things.
