Is software available?

Post by schnertling » Wed Sep 19, 2007 5:30 pm

My titration study is this coming Saturday. Once the results are in and the script is ready, I plan on purchasing a REMstar M series w/ C-flex and a heated humidifier. I'm confused about the software availability...CPAP.com talks about it, but says it's not for sale...but they sell the card reader which requires the software...which isn't for sale.

I'm trying to be proactive in my upcoming therapy. Why is software such a taboo?

Me again....

Who actually sets the parameters on a REMstar M series (the automatic)? Is it set with a specific range based on the prescription and operates within just that range?

It's usually set on a range and operates from there

And then most of us change it based on either how we feel, or based on feedback from the software that isn't available.

The good news is that there is theoreticly a version of the software coming out next month for patients.

Also, there is a reader from hongkong, it took me 2 weeks to receive it, and it was 31.80 total, and it works great!

I would agree with getting an AFLEX. It is only a few dollars more, and the extra comfort is worth every penny.
