Nope, nope. CPAP is no reason to not get a flu short. Nor is CPAP any reason to not get a pneumonia shot if you are eligible for one.

I am wondering what you thought might be a problem with having a flu vaccination while using xPAP. Perhaps we haven't considered something?

I am unable to get vaccinated against the flu because I am allergic to the preservative, thimerosal, that most formulas use. (This is the same preservative previously

suspected of causing autism after childhood immunizations.) Even those flu vaccines claiming to be preservative-free contain minute amounts of this preservative according to the CDC.

Is there, for example, some substance included in the vaccine that would be a potential problem?

I personally cannot see any contraindication, but as I said, I am curious about what you were thinking. Maybe you know something that we do NOT know.
