Embarrassed
I had the most wonderful tech at the sleep clinic.....she took me in their office in the morning and showed me what the computer had read as far as apneas and explained it all to me. that was about 2 months ago. Any way I have been ill. Have had problems with my bipap, and have been working way too hard. I live in a small community ( we are the one with the B52 that left the airbase here loaded with Nuclear Weapons by mistake???) And flew them all the way to Louisiana . Anyway hubby and I went to the Lowes store here, and I found me a nice bench by the waterfalls and plants to sit on while he was buying lumber. Of course I was asleep (I imagine snoring making a spectacle of myself) A voice woke me saying "Karen you cannot sleep at Lowes". It was Jutta my sleep tech. How embarrasing.

Karen, who better than the person who handled your sleep study to wake you at Lowe's? She, more than anyone else in the world right now, understands why you would be inclined to nod off on a bench beside waterfalls. Jutta was the perfect person to find you and gently wake you!

don't you mean "why not mindrot?"
Grew up in Grand fork, lol.
I would regularly fall asleep in the waiting rooms while waiting for Doctors appointments during my first battle with OSA. I was being allowed to miss staff meetings at work since I snored through them anyway. Why they kept me there I don't know, i must have been very productive during my waking moments. I got a lot of support from my bosses and co-workers when i went in for sugery to try to cure me.
Now that you have had your study, hopefully you too will be on the way to recovery as have your many friends you have found here.

Oh my goodness........so many Mindrotters here............i guess all 10 of us North Dakotans all have sleep apnea...and is it any wonder???? 1997 about did Grand Forks in...that flood was probably the best thing that happenned to that town. Totally rebuilt now. We have electricity now and we even have cable tv....internet too. Jesse James and his boys haven't killed anyone for a very long time and the price of gas is $#.@$ a gallon.
My brother is still in GF and yes......he does have sleep apnea. I was able to help him through both his study and becoming comfortable with the MACHINE!!floppysleeper wrote:Oh my goodness........so many Mindrotters here............i guess all 10 of us North Dakotans all have sleep apnea...and is it any wonder???? 1997 about did Grand Forks in...that flood was probably the best thing that happenned to that town. We even remodeled his hunting camper to provide access to elecricity and room enough on the bunks to accomidate our "Friend".
Yes Grand Forks seems very strong now and I hope it will continue it's renewal.
Hi to all the Nodaks out there, sleep well tonight.

So while hubby was buying lumber, you were sawing logs... seems somehow appropriate.floppysleeper wrote:Anyway hubby and I went to the Lowes store here, and I found me a nice bench by the waterfalls and plants to sit on while he was buying lumber.
