Encore Pro 1.8 installed...what happened to my info??

My Reminders List is gone. Hmmmm. It looked smooth when I installed it over 1.6.

The Compliance data is partially there. I am missing June 11, 2007 through
July 23, 2007. "No data available" --- that is wrong, it WAS there.

While installing, it said it was saving my info, so I guess it is off to meet the wizard time.

Anyone already fight this battle?

Something is really wrong. I downloaded my wife's data and it is mostly gone.
3 months is missing. It was there a few days ago. This is with 1.6, NOT 1.8

Anyone know where the data is going? This is 1.6 on the same desktop for over a year.

I removed 1.6 before I installed 1.8, left the server alone, 1.8 changes the server. I didn't have much data as I save it elsewhere and delete it from the server. I just keep two months on the server. It converted fine. Jim

I don't think it a good plan to install one version over another, that's not how I was taught.

it backs up your data before it installs, all the data would be contained in MSSQL backup.

I upgraded mine from 1.6 to 1.8 and didn't lose a single thing.

MSSQL? I recognize SQL....if it backs it up, how do I retrieve it? The manual that came with it does NOT cover that.

I have the same question. I need to restore my Encore Pro data from a full system backup from a few days ago. I've searched and can't figure out what file to restore. Any assistance would be appreciated.
