Just to say that it's OK to vent. We all do that here on this board. Also, if you're sleeping all night a couple nights a week, I'm jealous. I've been using my cpap a little over 2 months with 100% compliance. I have YET to sleep through the night, although I feel grateful to have 3-4 hours of straight up sleep. You are doing great in that department!! As far as the nose goes, talk to your doc about some Nasacort or Nasonex or whatever to use at night before bed. I use it because I was having the same problem, and after about 10 days, it really kicked in and I am breathing better than I have in years. Not that I'm an expert, but I would continue to use the humidifier. I was not using mine at first and I woke up with a very dry nose . Keep up the good work! You're worth it!

This thread is 15 months old, and popped up because some spammer attached to it. Hopefully, everyone's sleeping fine by now.

Don't feel bad. It happens to everybody once!
