Has anyone tried installing a white fine filter behind the hidden black filter? If so how did it work? I am thinking about installing one of my tank white filter cut to size. I do notice that sense cleaning the hidden filter I sneeze less, maybe it is a mind thing.

I ask him about the hidden air filter and about cleaning it, his reply was don't clean the filter but send it to Respironics for cleaning and recalibration, this filter has something to do with calibrating CM pressure. I would think that cleaning it would maintain the proper calibrated pressure, what do you think?

I ask him why they pulled the software(encore pro 1.8.49) and his answer is that the FDA made them do it, that they had nothing to do with yanking it off the market for general use, they had to comply with FDA rules, what do you think?
So, the converse of this is that by leaving it dirty and that nobody knows or will ever do anything about it will have a positive effect on the "calibration"?

I wish somebody would state WHICH FDA rule or what law is being violated!

Does one of your legs feel any longer?

I wonder if those holes may be for an ambient (static) air pressure detector. If it is a static pressure detector, the filter should be there just to keep crap out of the detector.

Basically the same question......What happens if nobody knows about them, cleaning filters, what's behind the "secret" cover (held in place by the Torx screw)......is the "static pressure detector" (or whatever) rendered inoperable or degraded in it's function by the filter becoming clogged?
