encore pro, how come you cant get the recent data?

when i download it makes me go back 2 days for the final date, i just wondered why

the time comes from the computer that downloads the data, have you checked your computer's time for accuracy? Windows was all screwed up from DST.

When you do a dump from the smart card, it uses your computer's time and knows the machine is set to GMT, it then calculates the time from there.

only problem with that idea is real time clocks are known to lose time without being refreshed so eventually the clock in the machine gets more and more behind.

It would have been a whole lot easier if they would have put in a clock chip on the machine so you can set the time. The others do it that way and it is so much easier.

Keep in mind the SmartCard will only keep 7-days worth of detailed data, then only up to 3-sessions per day. Every time you stop/start the machine that is a session with the machines way of thinking. Depending on when you stop/start the machine, you can truncate your report where half shows up on one day and rest on another.
