I doubt if the C.E.O of Respironics could give you a answer to most of those questions, not that he would be likely to try. The best bet would to be, buy 51% of the voting shares in Respironics, and make a change in the managment. Jim
It wouldn't hurt to get your spare change and buy 51% of the voting shares in Resmed too. That way after you got those two Big Dogs under control, the other players would settle down.
HELP! DirectHome Medical sent me a BLANK SOFTWARE CD !
If I could afford to buy 51% of Resmed stock, I'd have no problem paying their dictated equipment prices.

ComTech, to bring you up to speed since you so recently joined our forum:
CPAP software was never intended for patient use, it was and is intended for use by sleep professionals and CPAP equipment suppliers for monitoring of patients' xPAP therapy. The manufacturers to the best of my knowledge have never provided software support for other than the "professionals".
In Octobor 2006 Resmed announced a policy of restricting DME suppliers from providing or selling their software to patients (at least in the USA).
W/in the last 3 months Respironics has opted to adopt a similar policy restricting DME suppliers from providing or selling their software to patients (again at least in the USA).
Thus, those DME suppliers who continue to sell Resmed or Respironics software to patients endanger their access to Resmed and Respironics products to sell. It does appear that the DMEs may be allowed to sell the software that they still have in stock, if they still have any.
I don't know if any of this applies to DME suppliers outside of the USA. It would appear that it might not and therefore this may all have to do w/US regulations either recent or prior to this not adhered to.
