Like the nasal mask

I thought that I would need a FF mask. I have tried a few out. Found one, a Probasis, that I like. But decided to try a nasal mask anyway. I think it is the Respironics Comfort Gel? Seems to work great! I don't seem to be breathing through my mouth when I use it! Happy with it so far.

But I still have a sleep pattern problem. I think that it a combination of my mental disorders and meds for them. I always wake up four hours after I start sleeping. I tried time release Xanax XL, and that did not work. Next is that time realeae Ambien. I picture myself sleepwalking on the Ambien, dragging around my cpap stuff, LOL.

I still fall asleep in my recliner without a CPAP, so I ordered a cheap Respironics DM100 for that.

I was just falling asleep, when the power went off briefly tonight while on CPAP. The UPS handled it fine. No CPAP interruption. I think I am going to get the battery backup/car starter from WalMart. I already have an inverter. This should cover overnight power outages for a few days.

My sister in law is on CPAP, or she was prescribed one. She won't wear the FF mask. She refuses to do her own research. Sigh. I told her about pillow nasal masks, and says she will try to get a Rx for one.
