My deductible year is up today ($500) and the way my insurance works is that I'll be paying the rental fee on my M-series until about next February (at $75/month until my deductible is met). My question is has anybody had any success purchasing their machines outright and having it applied towards their deductible?
That's what I want to do. I'd like to get the M-series Aflex APAP. I know insurance companies don't always do the "smart" thing but I'm hoping mine will. After all, it will be cheaper to purchase off CPAP.com than to continue renting until February. Anyone with experience with Guardian or Homelink? Or with getting their purchase applied towards a deductible? With my history it won't be long before I make that deductible anyway I've been in the ER this year more times than my 8 year old twins combined!!!
