Sergey 45 and your bravo feedback

Sergey, I have been following your trials of the different masks on your website.

http://www.sleepapneasymptom.medgrip.com/cpap_mask.html

I find it very informative and agree with you 100 % on the Bravo feedback as well as the others for the most part.

I have found that when the air has chance to sit in the oral chamber of the Hybrid mask before going into the nares, that it does not feel so direct.

Have you considered the Hybrid? I will give you the ideal combination of soft nasal pillows that do not irritate the nares and well as the air not going directly into your nares.

Neverbetter,
Thanks.

The next one to try will be Mirage Activa. I have actually received it yesterday.
Yes, of course I’ve been thinking about Hybrid as well as about many other masks.

Sergy,

Good luck on that Activa. I started with that and had alot of rainout even with the humidifier off. I read somewhere on this forum, that that is typical for this mask. Something about the seal being so tight and the mask warming from your exhaling. Our bedroom is not that particularly cool, so the rainout really surprised me.

Sergy,

It is my every night mask as a rule. I find I need the rubber band I mentioned earlier and need to cinch it up fairly tight at the bottom to prevent the "farting" syndrome. I sleep on both of my sides more than my back and once I have a good seal, it usually will withstand most of my moving around with minimal leakage. The Activa is the best mask for seal. You just can't make it leak no matter how loose your straps are. Like I said the rainout really surprised me but I don't think every one would experience that ( my snout really fills up the large size). My brother has that mask and never experiences any rainout. When I use it, I need to break the seal a few times at night to wipe away the moisture. I will be trying the Swift II this week and will let you know how that comes out later.
