Snoring on CPAP . . .

Post by j.a.taylor » Mon Aug 20, 2007 6:10 pm

. . . any idea what that implies?

Since I've been on CPAP, I haven't been snoring.

However, both my wife and my daughter told me I really ripped it up for a little while last night, then calmed back down to a quiet breathing.

While wearing my nasal mask.

What's up?

Were you mouth breathing? Did you have an air leak?

Being on CPAP won't necessarily eliminate snoring.
I have snored while wearing a full face mask. You may want to avoid laying on your back, if that was the case.
In my case, the snoring was stopped by having my cpap pressure raised a couple of cm's.
