I know it seemed to drag for me when I was waiting to receive mine, especially because I didn't know if I would end up with what I wanted. Having Kaiser insurance and being required to use their in house sleep lab DME I only had a choice of one machine. Thank goodness it was what I was hoping for.

Sorry, I thought the 1.8 helped with the missing days of data on the 'M' series.

Maybe its because I don't live in the States, that I don't understand this statement. I need an explanation.
Why in the world would a doctor's decision to give their patient the software mean they're "sticking out their neck"? Does Respironics limit the sale to one copy per doctor? Is the doc instructed not to sell it to a patient if the doc thinks its necessary?
