Did you get a piece of flexible tubing? In the User Manual, the tubing is shown as being included. It wasn't.

I just changed DMEs. Now I am wondering if I am dealing with another Light-fingered Larry???

Shows as being included on CPAP.COM's website.

Snoredog-

OK, thanks. Yes, it shows a piece of flexible hose or tubing but none was in the bag, nor was the adaptor.

I guess I will have to call. Geeze!!

Are you referring to the hose or the elbow?
They did away with the elbow because of problems with it, but the hose should have been included.

Thanks Den. Maybe Louie was in the other room where he took the machine to set it up.

If you're talking about the swivel adapter, then no, they stopped including them even though the manual hasn't been updated.

Here's an article going into detail about it

Vettecraze-

It did state that the adaptor ...elbow...might not be included. But there was no hose either.

I believe the hose is not included in the purchase of the machine. You have to buy it separately.

The swivel is no longer included in the purchase of the M series, but I believe you can get it from various suppliers.

BTW - I've had no problems with my swivel condensating and leaking on my nightstand. BUT, I made my hose cover a little extra long, and it covers the swivel, so that may be keeping the condensation at bay, or absorbing any moisture.

Cheers,
B.

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)

But Babette, the manual says the hose is included. I wanted to ask though, before assuming the wrong thing.

Bama, Respironics printed the manual. They are not the SELLER of the machine. The SELLER sells the hose separately. That's just the way it is.

Check your insurance statement. I believe my DME charged my insurance $25 for the $8 hose he supplied me....

Good luck!

Hose came with mine.

Then again, I don't seem to have to deal with issues from my supplier. They have been excellent.

Oh yeah, I got a hose with my machine from my DME. Who charged me $25 for it, as well as $10 each for the grey foam filters, and $10 each for the white paper filters.

When I ordered my APAP from CPAP.com, it clearly stated what came with it, and I ordered a separate hose.

Cheers,
B.

Back when I was about to get into this, one of the local DMEs was pricing out everything individually......they wanted to charge $60 for the hose and about $260 for the UMFF and then another $60 for the headgear (at that time the UMFF was $139 w/headgear at CPAP.COM) . Not a chance!!!

I'd put some pressure on them to include the hose, if I were you.
