I want a copy of the CLINICIAN"S Manual for the Respironics M Series BIPAP Auto with heated humidifier (Model DS700HS).
Any suggestions where I can find one?
Thanks, Mark
Manual for Respironics M Series BIPAP Auto
Ebay is your best bet, but that machine was just released so it might be a while before one shows up. Usually the seller is offering only a .pdf scanned copy of the book, but who cares...if you want it bound, take it down to the local FedEx Kinko's. Also, send an email to some of the sellers of the clinicians/provider manuals for the older machines. They will probably offer to get it for you (again, as a scanned .pdf).

Does this manual usually come with new equpment? Or is it like the software, "an end user has no need for it".

Why pay somebody on Ebay for something like that. They're the ones that stole the manuals from the boxes to begin with.....
This will at least get you into the clinical setup. Once in there, go through all of the screens and settings and write them down BEFORE making ANY changes. Once you see (and document) all of those screens and options, you'll have seen almost all of what's in the setup guide, anyway.
Den
Hold down the <- -> buttons while plugging in the little power cord in the back, wait for 2 beeps release buttons. Then press the + key to enter setup mode, use the <- -> buttons to move to the next field, use the -/+ keys to decrease/increase values, when set press the On/Off button to exit Setup.
