My prescribed pressure was 14 and I set the pressure starting at 6 and max. at 13.6 on EPR. The mask selection is activa nasal mask with the mask fit on. The settling time is 20 min. and max of 45 min.

Having one night's numbers being "twice" as bad as the previous (or subsequent) isn't anything to worry about at all. I've got a stable CPAP routine with no real issues, and about one third of the time my AHI's vary by a factor of 2 or more from one night to the next. Even when we get everything sorted, we'll still see daily variation. The idea is to make your average night as good as possible. Good luck.

By the way, in addition to the previously mentioned factors of sleep position and leakage, time spent in REM (where events are commonly worse than in NREM) is something else that will contribute to variation in your numbers.

Okay, that 12.2 pressure for the night was the 95th percentile just as the leak rate is the 95th percentile, so you spent 95 percent of the night at or below 12.2 cms of pressure.

EPR does not work in the auto mode. But there are those who insist that the Settling time does affect your reported data. I'm still "shaky" on just how much affect Settling has on our data.

If your scripted pressure is 14 cms how did you come up with 13.6 as your maximum and 6 cms as your minimum pressure settings?

STAY AT ONE SETTING AN ENTIRE 7 DAYS BEFORE MAKING ANY CHANGES, in mask or pressure, taping, etc. ONE CHANGE AT A TIME.

I'd be inclined to suggest setting your minimum pressure to 8 cms and either leave your maximum at 13.6 cms or change it to 14 cms AFTER you have stayed with the exact settings you have now for a full 7 nights. Then take a look at your data again and consider the change in minimum pressure to 8 cms if you're not satisfied.

My ramp pressure is 6 , is that the same as my min. pressure setting?
I came up with 13.6 because I cound not handle 14 so I worked my way back to a pressure were I could keep my mask on and not rip it off my face in the middle of the night because it was just too much.
I set it in epr mode because I had a problem when I exhaled so I thought it would help, so do you think I should put it auto mode, and if I did how would this help me?
