Optilife fitting instructions

Post by jasper » Tue Jul 31, 2007 5:40 pm

Jane,
There is an instruction booklet that comes with the mask. On pg 12 it gives fitting instructions, including "Rotate the cushions so they are at about 45 deg angle towards your face..." Later, the instruction is to adjust the angle of the cushion to the most comfortable position.... I'll bet that angle for me is closer to 20 degrees, so don't be afraid to experiment.

From the sounds of it they didn't give you a manual either?? Incredible!

Look at the following fitting instructions on the Respironics site. They will be quite helpful. (Pictures and videos).

And when you go back to the DME, You should demand the other 3 sizes that were in your package. They are petite, small, medium and large.

Good luck...[/url]

Really? Getting madder! I didn't get one. And I still have a basic CPAP. I've got a lot to settle this Thurs. I'll see DME in the a.m.. and sleep doc in the afternoon. Maybe things will begin to turn around.
