Better yet, lets all log in as guest and post mindless ad hominem attacks, secure in the knowledge that no one knows who we are.

Can we stop and think about what we're doing for a minute please
I really do hope that reading this sort of stuff doesn't frighten away any people who came here for information, help and support

Or, apparently, to worship me.

Liam, not even an AMERICAN Idol.

Heheh!

MartiniLover, I vaguely thought I read a medical study linking all that to severe apnea...

Heck! I almost forgot to post my one wish. Let's see.... If people can have a whole house vacuum system, why not a whole house CPAP. Yeah! That's it! A whole house CPAP!

Dude, you are one sick-minded individual.

I think that's why we love you so much.

Liam, standing back and trying to look macho, after realizing he just expressed love for a fellow male.

Liam,
A whole house CPAP might be just what you need! In fact, what we all need. We wouldn't have to wear a mask, have a hose dragging every time we moved, no need to fill the humidifier every night, or wash the mask all the time.
If nothing else, just not having to tweak the mask all the time would be worth it!

Sick? You're probably just picturing a bunch of CPAP hose terminals spread throughout the house. To really appreciate this idea you also have to picture me connected up to this system and taking naps in every room throughout the house.

Besides, Heidi said I could use my wish any way I want....

They already invented the whole house cpap decades ago. It's called the iron lung. Do you think you could get comfortable in that, Liam?

Wow! But that's a CPAP system as big as a whole house. I get it, Wader: put a CPAP system as big as a whole house inside a house and you have a whole house CPAP system.

Did I ever mention that if I had a second wish it would be to have a whole house iron lung system installed "just in case"???

That is an amazing story about the iron lung, but wouldn't a more correct analogy be a whole house hyperbaric chamber, set to your titrated pressure? I don't suppose that an auto setup would work without some way to sense the need. Most of us wouldn't need the oxygen boost, I guess.

Fun speculation, though!

I found the above link to a hospital in Aberdeen, Scotland. Interesting site.

I'm not sure from the limited time for research that I have tonight whether they can vary the pressure on this.

At least there would be no mask!

Sleep well,

Jane

Wonder how much an CPAP add-on feature for this would cost?

My one wish is that the world pack up its sorrows and give them all to me. You all would lose them, I know how to use them, Give them all to me.

This Guest's wish, expressed by a song:

Pack Up Your Sorrows

Refrain:
Well, if somehow you could pack up your sorrows,
And give them all to me.
You would lose them, I know how to use them,
Give them all to me.

(Refrain)

No use cryin', talking to a stranger,
Namin' the sorrows you've seen;
Oh, 'cause there are too many bad times,
Too many sad times,
Nobody knows what you mean.

{Refrain}

No use ramblin' walkin' in the shadows,
Trailin' a wanderin' star.
No one beside you, no one to hide you,
An' nobody knows where you are.

{Refrain}

No use roamin', walking by the roadside,
Seekin' a satisfied mind.
Ah, 'cause there are too many highways,
Too many byways,
Nobody's walkin' behind.

Well, if somehow you could pack up your sorrows,
And give them all to me.
You would lose them, I know how to use them,
Give them all to me.
