Carrie,
It does appear that you had a fair number of apneas; looks like you had the machine on for about 7 hours, if I'm looking correctly. That would make your AI (apnea index, or number of apneas per hour) 1.4. Can't tell with any certainty about your AHI (apnea-hypopnea index,) as the graph is a little fuzzy.

Within my first month or two of xPAP use, I note some days where the AI was as high as 2.1. Maximum AHI over the first month for one day was listed as 10.2. It's possible that you need a higher pressure; looks like your pressure now is around 8.5 or 9, if my eyes aren't too fuzzy. Were I in your shoes, I wouldn't be too fast to change things. If your AHI stays above 6, then you might think about making some changes. Look for your numbers to decline somewhat as you acclimate to your machine. My last week's numbers (and granted, I'm running APAP) were AHI 1.2, AI 0.0, HI 1.2. (Looking at actual exported data, AHI 1.25, AI 0.2, HI 1.23.)

AAHA! Color us all red-faced!!! AI = number of apneas PER HOUR, whereas the graph is showing each individual apnea. Duh. Thank you, JimW!

How come it is so obvious now that you've pointed it out to us???

Might anyone with either/both AutoScan/ResScan indicate whether the software allows for software updates via ResMed's servers?

AutoScan doesn't.

Cheers,

Bill
