Yeppers. It's happened to me often enough that if it's really bizarre, like giant flaming neon spiders, I tend to think, "Hmmm, I'm dreaming while I'm awake again" and just try to enjoy my own little horror movie. Unfortunately, if it seems normal enough to be something that could be real, like say, a very large snake or a bunch of big old rats in my bed, it really does freak me out a bit.

Interesting thread.....
I'm kind of just the opposite. I don't recall dreams at all -- I've kind of suppressed them because of nightmares after Vietnam (69-70).
I know I had them because at one point I'd wake up and my ex would be on the couch (she tried to wake me from one once - I wasn't violent, but really freaked her out).
When I was single again, I'd know because the bed would be really torn up in the morning -- So I know I was having dreams - but didn't remember any.
In the past 10, maybe 15 years I haven't had the "bed torn up" problem nor has my present wife said anything about nightmares, so perhaps they're behind me, but I still do not remember any dreaming......
I've been on xPAP for 7 weeks now and notice no difference in dreams.
Thought I'd throw that in
cheers

Wars arise from a failure to understand one another's humanness. Instead of summit meetings, why not have families meet for a picnic and get to know each other while the children play together?
