Probably dumb question:
(and I've pestered Mikesus with this question long enough)
Other than discussion sites or chatrooms, where do you get most of your information about sleep apnea? Any of it -- technical information, product information, latest news on OSA. Or do you just rely on this or other discussion group sites for information beyond the topics? Or do you just use search engines to find what you want?
Do you find any website or link list beneficial to you? What would you like to see as a source of information? Do you frequent the website of the American Sleep Apnea Association (ASAA) or any other website, in search of information?
If Mikesus' terrific audio streams or something similar were available on the ASAA website, would you use that site?
I think we all wish as many people as possible have access to great information. Any suggestions or thoughts are appreciated. Maybe we could offer the ASAA or other sites some suggestions --- perhaps some of your suggestions.
Linda

I rely on just the two main sleep apnea message boards - cpaptalk.com and talkaboutsleep.com. Thanks in large part to people like Titrator and Mikesus, we probably get "cutting edge" news more quickly right here than any place I can think of short of being a mole inside one of the cpap companies.
I'll Google for more on things that are brought up on the message boards, but most of the time, it's right here, or the link is here.
Mike is a marvel at digging up the coolest links. He sure has done a bang-up job bringing the lecture to us!!

You know these discussion sites better than I do. I know this one has the streaming news and interviews/reviews. Do these have suitable link lists? (maybe a naive question, or i't right under my nose and I don't notice). Mike hasn't gotten a response yet from cpaptalk as to hosting the stream of the lecture. Would a spot (on either of these boards) with links (i.e., a link to the ASAA if it hosted Mike's audio) be of use to people?

I am honored to be included with Titrator! Thanks! I personally believe that if you have an ailment, you have to become an expert about it, as you are your best advocate. Unfortunately the medical community has failed me a few times and I personally won't allow myself to let it happen again. In the meantime I do a LOT of reading. Not quite at the level that SWS or Titrator is at, but some day
By the way, I get my info from a little place called the "INTERNET" maybe you have heard of it?
A lot of the info comes from various sources tho, Journal of Chest Physicians, and some of the other ones mentioned before... One of the best places to find what will be coming out is the US Patent Office... You could get lost there...
