I'm also wondering what he'll think of the machine and the tubing. He sleeps in another part of the house though so I doubt it'll be an issue. Anxious to see how he reacts to seeing me wearing the mask.. sometimes he can be a little tough-dog and come barking and snarling, only to turn right around and go running under my dad's legs like a fradie-dog!
I have 2 dogs, 1 is only a year old. I also foster dogs from time to time. The 1 year old likes to smell the air port from time to time, but thats about is. They both generally leave it alone, and they do sleep in bed with me. Same with my fosters, they may have to sniff it to figure out what it is, but then they pretty much ignore it. Having said that, I do make sure that they don't have access to my mask when I'm not wearing it, I'm afraid that it might make a fun chew toy.
