I finally got through to ResMed today regarding the squeeling issue with my Ultra Mirage FF mask. I didn't even get to finish my description of the problem when the customer service person cut in with the answer. She said they are well aware of the problem - the membrane in the connector elbow needs replacing she claims and is sending me one in the mail. Anyone else who needs a replacement, their contact number is (800) 424-0737. They are located in California so keep the Pacific time zone in mind when calling.

Jerry,
I got the same results we will send you a piece to correct it suposed to be on the way. But if its still driving you nuts take a real small amount of vaseline or something similar and rub it on that seal it will quiet it right down. I've had mine patched for a few days now and its working fine no noise at all.. hope that helps

Thanks battlin_blazes. I'll see what happens. I find if I thump it a few times and twist it around a bit, I can usually stop the squeeling but who wants to have to do that all the time. Now, if I can just figure out how to keep the #$%@!#$^ thing from leaking air like a screen door, I'll be all set! I don't think this is a good mask for a high pressure setting like mine - 18.
