REMStar Plus - Filter Changes?

Post by McKinleyB » Sat Jun 23, 2007 9:44 am

I'm a new REMStar Plus user, recently diagnosed with OSA. Question: How often should I change the filters? Daily? Weekly? Monthly?

Thanks in advance.

I have the same machine and was told the wash the black filter once a week using baby shampoo and to change the white disposable filter when it gets discolored (black or gray) which would be about once a month.
Nothing cures insomnia like the realization that it's time to get up!

Becuse I live close to a freeway, and I also take my Cpap in our motorhome when we travel. I change the Miro filter (the white one weekly) And I clean the Sponge (the grey one) filter once a week and replace it every time my they send me a new one

I always replace the white (Micro filter) before we leave in the RV and when we get back home. There is usuially so much dust from being around horses in the base camp of endurance rides that you have to replace it.

I wash the foam filter weekly and replace the white filter monthly during the winter and weekly during the summer. The pollen here is unbelievable!
