Finally Got IT

Post by Severeena » Tue Mar 29, 2005 3:03 pm

Can you till I am happy.

I finally got my CPAP after calling the idiot doctor's office twice yesterday.

My CPAP is the ResMed S7Lightweight heated water.

I will have to play with my mask until I can get the right fit, or wait until the one comes out from SleepNet.

Does anyone else have this machine?

I had the S7 for my initial machine but switched to the PB 420E as I needed a smaller unit since I fly a lot.
I liked it okay except the readouts did not show central apneas, which the Remstar and PB do, and it turns out I have quite a few. I did like the auto on/off feature and being able to see the AHI without the software.
What mask are you getting.

The R7 Lightweight is an excellent base machine and will serve you well, I use one myself as a spare and travel unit. Not as small as some but very trouble free. Use distilled water in it, not tap.

Good Luck and welcome to our world!
