Import/Export Encore Pro

Hi

I must be missing something here.

I exported my encore ...
in xml format

when i try to import it into my back up computer it
seems like it is looking for .enc

what am i missing here...

i can not export in .enc and not read in .xml

i know it is probabaly real simple but i am missing it right now

My guess - save your file (.enc) onto a thumb drive or similar, then take this to your second computer. The export feature is to allow use with spreadsheets.

I export "the patient" from my main system and then "import the patient record" on my laptop so I have the data for doctor visits.

The *.ENC is for updating from one version to another and includes the entire database.
