DME Recomendations

Post by Craig-Tx » Thu May 31, 2007 5:12 am

Ok, if you seen some of my recent posts, you will know I am seriously displeased with my current DME (Apria - go figure.)

Does anyone here have any recommendations for a DME in the North Texas area? Dallas / Fort Worth / Denton (Preferably closer to Fort Worth, but I will drive farther)

If I don't get any recommendations I may try to get my insurance to either work with billmyinsurance, or work with me where I buy from cpap.com and they reimburse me. But I would like a decent B&M DME.

Thanks
-craig

I've had a really good experience with Walgreens in northern NM - they operate out of the local hospital. Don't know if I just got lucky.

Fogot to add there is a pharmacy in Fort Worth that also supplies XPAP equipment http://www.accuratepharmacy.com. It is at 1200 Pennsylvania Ave.

I've had good luck with Walgreen's Home Care, but they only service part of Texas and I don't know which part you're in.

I had no idea Walgreens had a home care department. Unfortunately according to their list, they are not in the Dallas / Fort Worth area.
