Post by ablong » Sat Jun 02, 2007 4:52 am

I just purchased 2500a and cable and profox software for the 2500

the machine and cable came from turner and software came from
Profox. there is one draw back in the software has a dongle which
has got to be in a usb port when software is loaded. I mis understood
about loading usb drivers but once i got by that it works fine.

I can set the date and time inthe 2500a and know how my nite fared
as o2.
Ihope this helps.

Allen

Thanks for the tip, I will probably be installing the software while in Denver.
I will download this thread, in case Cherry Creek State Park's wifi is down.
Installing Software is like pushing a rope uphill.
I have Encore Pro 1.8.65 but could not find it listed
under software.

I am SO frustrated.

Apria told me they had this other pulse ox with an alarm, but it was the size of a loaf of bread. I asked them if they didn't have something smaller, like the SPO 7500. Nope, they had this unit on their shelf. So I ask them about a couple of others, and seeing the day we leave for Denver coming fast. On the
30th I said their unit would do fine. No answer. On the 31st of May I asked when they could have this Pulse Ox to my house. Silence. I asked the same thing on the first of June, only I insisted they call and find out exactly where this unit was. Now I get an honest answer from one of three ladies who worked pretty hard trying to me a new mask, Pulse Ox, regulator for the 6 E bottles they brought out for my trip. Just forgot the regulator. A warning shot across the bow. They bring out the regulator and a 2 wheel cart. No Pulse Ox. Then one of the three ladies called and demanded to know exactly where my Pulse ox is. Stockton, but they are bring it up to Sacramento Saturday. OK, I leave on Monday. Plenty of time. Today, I wait all day, something is rotten in Denmark. Around 3pm I called one of these three ladies and she found out my Pulse Ox has been in Sacramento since Friday night. It took until 6pm Saturday to get it to me.

I was handed a box and two sets of papers. Just initial here that you have been shown how to use it. While it is still in the box. This young man did not have a clue. Same with the Home fill II. Not a clue. I would NOT sign their paperwork today. I asked him to please open the box. I took it out and found two pieces out of three. He did not even know what was missing.
I looked it up and showed him on the internet. No finger pulse piece. I told him this equipment was worthless the way it was. He said he was sure the missing piece was on the shelf, if I would just sign for it, he would bring it out to me Sunday. I told him no thanks. I don't think they have the parts.
I told him Apria lacked quality control in Stockton and up here. No one had the inititive to even open the box to see if all the parts were there. No one
cares.

I called the local manager, telling him he has problems in middle management and quality control. I told him I was debating calling corporate HQ to see if they have anyone qualifed. I did that before, it worked.

I will leave Monday morning without a pulse ox. Apria asked me what time I am leaving Monday. I told them between 9am and 10am. He paused, then said ok. To his credit, this young Respiratory Rep called me back and told me they did not have the parts.

What would you do? We are leaving Monday AM.

I spoke to the manager about a month ago, asking him how he wanted to play it. I had four calls not returned by their chief of Respiratory Services,
( he was on loan to anther company) I went down the list and asked him if he wanted me to complain to him or call corporate again? He said he would prefer I call him. I asked him who his "go to" employee person was and I called her. This normally works ok. The supervisor quit supervising my items and they didn't get delivered.

When your life is on the line, good luck if Apria is helping you. I will be on oxygen all the way back.

I don't know if this helps. I don't know if it has all the features you want. But it's the lowest price my school nurse could find. She wants to buy several for our school district:

If anyone knows of a lower price, please PM me!

Cheers,
