Snoogles, Squshes, and other pillows. . .

If you google a snoogle. . . Here's one link you might get:

Actually, these are body pillows, but with difference. They curve around you. I've tried body pillows in the past, and they don't keep me from sleeping on my back, which is what I'm looking for. (Tennis balls don't work, since I use them on the floor to get the kinks out of my back when awake and so hardly notice them when asleep on the soft bed. I thought of bowling balls, but they always smell of smoke).

I came across them when I was looking for shapeable pillows at Target.com. You can hook them around so they are behind you or in front of you. I think if they were behind, it would be hard to roll on your back, because they hook around to the front (to support your knees, etc.).

Has anyone tried this solution or anything like it? if so, how did it work? I'm probably going to try one and am off to Target today for the shapeable pillows at least.

I recently started using the shapeable pillows from Target and, unlike so many other products, find them to be as good as advertised. My mask makes its own dent in the pillow so doesn't get pushed around on my face. They have improved my sleep considerably as I do not wake up with mask leaks.

Let us know about the curved body pillow.

To me that looks very interesting. I am not pregnant (thank heavens) but I am overweight in all the wrong places (unfortunately) I am always using different pillows for different things so that might be something I would like! I will check that out next time I can find a target.

I just got back from Target. They had the shapeable pillows (on sale) but not the snoogle. Apparently they only have that one online.

They also had a Sqush, a travel pillow that looks like it might work well with an interface. It's the Homedics Mobile Comfort Head Rest Cushion a "Sqush Therapy Pillow" is kind of butterfly shaped, and is filled with those tiny styrofoam beads. I found one online for those of you who might want to see what it looks like. It has a cutout curve that looks like it will work for the mask/pillows to hang over, a little like the papillow, only one on both sides. Its pretty small, designed to go over the headrest of the car, so could be put on top of another pillow if you want more elevation. Here's a link:

I went to Meijer (a regional superstore like KMart) to see if the had anything like the snoogle. They didn't but had a pillow I liked even better than the shapeable pillow because it squished down more and seemed more shapeable The brand is Maximum Comfort and it has "superslick microfiber" and seems a lot like down. (I'm allergic to feathers, so can't use down). I like a very thin pillow otherwise it hurts my neck.

Meijer also had body pillows for $10, so I got two thinking I might attach them at the bottom and make something like the Snoogle, which looks more comfortable, but is more expensive especially with the shipping. However, if that doesn't keep me on my side, I'll try the Snoogle next.

I was also doing some online searches and found a pillow for GERD (acid reflux. It looks better than a wedge Here's a link to it
