Full Face Mask

Post by Guest » Thu Mar 24, 2005 12:11 am

Please help me!! I have been on CPAP for 3 months. I get up every 1-2 hrs during the night. I am a mouth breather. I have two chin straps but mu mouth still opens. I have tried the Activa nasal mask which I loved because it was so comfortable and I could turn on my side. But I still opened my mouth. I have the Ultra Mirage now. I really need to get a full face mask.
The sleep lab let me try the Mirage full face and it is awful. I need help!!
Anyone have a good full face mask.
Desperate for sleep.
Thanks for any info.
I will join soon.

The Mirage ff Mask vs the ultra or series 2 does not have a forehead support. This is really needed. I am still fighting leaks with my Ultra Mirage and I also have a mirage (I can NOT get the mirage to seal for the life of me without squeezing my eyeballs out of my skull) If you definately have to have a full face, get the Ultra Mirage. IF you think you can try not to mouth breathe the threads that RG provided will give you some ideas.

If you decide to go the nasal mask only route, The Activa and the new Aura seem to be the favorites now...
