OT: Ever get jealous of your pet(s)?

Post by Lyza » Thu May 10, 2007 3:08 am

Ever notice how they don't have insomnia? How within minutes they are off dreaming, just twitching away running after that bird, cat or whatever it is they dream about?
Ramping is for the weak.

That happens when you don't have a specific schedule to maintain. I had that life for a year and enjoyed not having to use an alarm clock and never tossing and turning.

The lives of pets

I've said for many years that if there is such a thing as reincarnation, I want to come back as a well-loved house cat. Plenty of food, toys, attention, free medical care, great places to nap...

President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

My ten year old red heeler is getting to where he snores some.

Last nite he was sound asleep and just running like crazy. I'd never seen him run like that in his sleep. He was really getting after it. It kinda scared me....I thought something might be wrong with him, but when I woke him up he just looked at me like, "what are you doing?"

He has RLS, put a few bars of Ivory Soap in his bed. Jim

We used to have a very cute, sweet little shih tzu X poodle which the whole family loved. (Even my brother who never likes cats or dogs liked Dusty.) One day while I was ironing clothes, my husband said, "You are so pretty!" Delighted with the complement, I turned to thank him and discovered he was talking to the dog.

Esther

BTW, he tells me that too.

My husband says, "Esther is not a morning person---and it goes downhill from there."

Jealous of my pet? I'm jealous of my husband who can fall asleep 5 minutes after his head hitting the pillows. Many glares are directed his way.

My dog can sleep anytime. And she dreams like crazy at night. When she's on the bed with us she sometimes makes so much noise I try to wake her up so she won't wake my husband. I say try to wake her up because it's really hard to wake her up when she's like that. So, not only can she fall asleep in no time, she can sleep so soundly I can't wake her up!

Life is very unfair.

But, when he says it to the dog, he means it. Jim

I spent a lot of time in the dog house for talking nice to the dog. The wife didn't like it.

Did you see Jeff Foxworthy? He tried to tell his young daughters who were trying to sneak a peek at him in the shower so they could "see what a whoo whoo looked like" that "whoo whoos" are deadly poison. His youngest said they are NOT poison, otherwise the dog would be long dead.

Oh Jim, I so get your humor. Maybe it's because our birthdays are the same day.

Anyway, I will be sooooo jealous of Dude (the dog) tomorrow on our trip. He gets to sleep the whole 12 hours while I have to drive most of the way. Hubby gets to nap alot too because I get carsick if I don't drive.
