First off, hello to everyone. I'm new to these boards and somewhat new to CPAP.
I've been on CPAP for 2 months and although I feel better than I did, I don't feel like I should be feeling. My husband says that I've been snoring even while wearing cpap.
Thankfully, I have an awesome doctor. I went in and talked to him and suggested an autopap and he agreed 100%. He also wrote me a prescription for the software and card reader at my request. It's nice to have a doctor that isn't put off at a patient taking their health seriously.
Only problem is that the DME is out of them till later this week. I can't wait to get it and see how it works for me.
Any suggestions from you guys?? I've been browing the old posts and it seems like quite a few of you use this model.
Also, is there any way to get a copy of the clinician's manual? I know my DME won't give me one when I pick up the machine and I'd really like to have one.
Thanks for any replies/help.

Amanda, it's good to hear a story about a responsive doc.
IMO the remstar auto is an excellent machine. I've had mine for nearly 3 months and have nothing but praise for it. I've found it particulalrly reassuring to have the card reader & software, so that I can keep an eye on the results. Hopefully, your good relationship with the doc will continue and you'll get help with analysing the results, but you'll find lots of people in this forum who will help you if there's anything you don't understand.
What pressure range has the doc suggested?
My original prescription was for 11cm and I now have the auto set for 5cm-12cm. I find I spend most of the time near the lower end of the range and rarely get into the upper half, so it's much more comfortable than the fixed pressure machine I had before.
Good luck
