What mask did you switch to that improved your numbers?
I use the UMFF at 12. Had a 0.0 AHI.....night of Apr. 30. Average for the month of April it was 0.5.

If it's sized and adjusted properly, it's a good mask.

Is your machine set for the right mask?
From what I've read here, the ResMed machines tend to score a little higher on hypopneas. AND, a little extra pressure can bring them down.

Wulfman....the UMFF is a great mask...best I have ever had. I did not mean to imply otherwise. My machine is set correctly to the mirage full face mask. I am envious of your low numbers.

Track,

Do you have problems with GERD?

What fixed pressure seems to give you your best "numbers"?

Did you use EPR?

Would you be willing to try a straight pressure of 10 or 11 for a few nights?
If you use EPR, you might stick with either a setting of 1 or 2.

It seems that your numbers get somewhat worse as the pressure goes up.

The lowest fixed pressure you listed was 12......so I'm just wondering......

Heck yes...I will try it. I will set tonights at 10...that will seem heavenly compared to 15.

I tried it for 3 nights at 10-11. Won't do that experiment again. It was scary reading the events chart and the number of extended AI. The last 3 nights I have settled on 13-17 with my 95% pressure being in the 13s. I have also had my best numbers at that pressure. AHI at 4 with AI from .3 to 1.0.
