Anyone can write intelligent these days with all the knowledge you need to do so at your fingertips. If you actually talk like you write you must bore the hell out of everyone around you. This goes out to several of the writers in this thread. You know the "regulars" with super high thread counts. You know what I like about two people with high thread counts on here, restedgal and blarg, they are smart people that don't have to try and prove it to everyone. This is a forum for CPAP and that is all. Go practice your self absorbed look at how smart I am writing on a mensa board.
Darn! ... and all this time I thought this PAP treatment was gonna pump more air in to my head and make me smarter ... so they wouldn't send me back to the 9th grade

President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

Yep ... been there done that (except for the kids ... you masochist!).

But I did kill off mass quantities of those grey cells with recreational drugs during my teens and twenties ... that should count for something, like maybe 8th grade level ... the O2 desats didn't really kick in until my late twenties I think

Yur darn right smart on that one, Mike! As I see it there are only two essential elements to any intelligent writing these days: vowels and consonants. As you keenly point out, the specifics of how to weave them together are all laid out on the Internet these days. All anyone really has to do is string those two elements together in a fairly clever way. Next thing you know, you're yammerin' and hammerin' out prose that would just embarrass the Dickens out of Shakespear.

Yabbut,

Praise the lord for the new interactive spell checker (a new cpaptalk feature ?) - just need a grammar analyzer & corrector & my bacon gets saved big time

Avoids those repeated corrections I always need, like the ones where I say something like "that always never happens" & this bad grammar plus poor typing morphs it into "that always happens" .

Well, obviously you value theories that have no proof, which is where we differ. I didn't think I was putting words in your mouth, and I apologize for the misunderstanding.

Actually, theories need not be substantiated with "proof" ... but rather, only need a logical and testable set of hyothesis.

Or maybe you were just being sarcastic like Doug above with his "that always never happens" jest ...

Yeah, it's the testable part where we're having problems.

LOL! Speaking of spell checker, Doug, check out the way I misspelled THE Bard of Avon. There sure ain't no career in yammerin' and hammerin' out respectable prose for -SWS. That's for sure!

On the subject of spell checkers, I like FireFox's automatic spell checker. It interactively highlights misspelled words as they are typed. I just can't remember to run spell checker here while using IE, and I can't seem to remember to use FireFox when I post to a message board. It's them durn apnea-fried brain cells acting up once again.

Memories... gotta love 'em if you have em.

AHA !!! - so thats what was happening yesterday - I upgraded to Firefox 2 & then noticed that my spelling was being highlighted as I posted in cpaptalk - I thought it must have been a cpaptalk enhancement - no need to invoke the spell checker - but now I gather it was Firefox rubbing my nose in my poor spelling & incorrect (non US) nationality
