What a great idea, jskinner! You are amazing! Between this wiki and your incredible software, you are personally responsible for improving the quality (and most likely length) of the lives of so many people!

I want to thank you for your contributions to the apnea afflicted!

So......THANK YOU!

Another approach

Post by JohnMudie » Thu May 03, 2007 2:30 am

I have been amazed at the efforts it has taken me to finf the "good" nuggets of information so started my own index, But I think a nuch better way would be to use a wkki approach to sketch out the main layouts and then have frequent links down to the key cpaptalk nugget (the post itself)
This means the reader doesnt have to rely complelely on the synthesis made by the author of the Wikki page but can access the user experience directly which is the key to self-help stuff.

So James, if you are OK with this , I would like to try my hand at adding pages with many referrals to raw cpaptal messges and abandonj my index,

Comments welocmed before I start messing,

John M

Hi John,

I think over the long term we should try to get the meat of each topic put into each article in addition to links of related dicussions on the topic at cpaptalk.com While I agree the full discussion is valuable I think the main focus of each article should eventually try to address the topic themselfs in a comprehensive and concise manner.

So go ahead a create the articles with links into cpaptalk.com dicussions but we should try to eventually go though each one an pull out the details so that one can quickly get at them.

On the other hand its a wiki so I really don't get to dictate. The community as a whole really has to agree
