Just a little silliness for your late night (or whenever) enjoyment.
This is a modification of the lyrics for "These Blues." This modification has been made for obvious sleep apnea reasons:
Apnea Blues
Apnea Blues come calling some times
Apnea Blues come calling some times
They steal my sleep and
Trouble my weary mind
These Blues call at their whim
These Blues call at their whim
I can be fast asleep
They wake me up at 3 am
Apnea Blues hide under my bed
Apnea Blues hide under my bed
Ain't nothing but time
Will get these Blues out of my head
And I don't like feeling all empty inside
But when the Blues come calling
There ain't no place to hide
Thirst needs water, Love needs a spark
But these Apnea Blues they need the dark
Apnea Blues call out my name
Apnea Blues call out my name
I hide my head beneath the covers
But they find my just the same
And I don't like feeling all empty inside
But when the Blues come calling
There ain't no place to hide
Thirst needs water, Love needs a spark
But these Blues they need the dark
Apnea Blues come calling some times
Apnea Blues come calling some times
They steal my sleep and
Trouble my weary mind
They steal my sleep and
Trouble my weary mind
They steal my sleep and
Trouble my weary mind

"Apnes Blues"
Hi Guest,
Your efforts are certainly admired but you have the wrong rythm and beat. We CPAP'ers are not "blue" at all - getting treatment, slleping better, not tired during the day, yawning is gone, no car crashes etc. etc. etc In fact, if we didn't spend a lot of our time on this board - we would be out dancing!!
So..... start tapping your toe, snapping your fingers and complete the following:
Down on the mattress, out on the couch
Remy and the C-flex are coming
They're unwinding here tonight.........
You know if do it right there could be some big bucks in it for you. Try to imagine your concert with all the CPAP'ers there, each with a mask on and a hose sticking up. Only downside is the full face masker's won't be able to sing along. Oh hell, they can humm!
Nice try Guest!
Waiting for your next big hit!
Bob F
P.S. - Maybe pumping is beter than unwinding, you can always use unwinding when 6 foot Sally makes the scene.

Oh, and unclebob,
FYI, I had originally inserted "cpap" in there instead of "apnea."
But I knew, as you said, us treated ones are happier.
The blues is for the ones who aren't treated or treated successfully, or a memory of how it was BEFORE treatment.
But you're right, gotta find a better, more traditional blues rhythm.
Like yours better, song that is. ...
