I have Homelink (not bad really) and APRIA and I agree, APRIA IS fairly hostile to patients.BadThad wrote:Nope, the software and card reader was "free". They told me they charged my insurance for the full, retail price of a CPAP ($1200) and that was enough to cover my REMstar package....I'm very happy with them so far.mth712 wrote:You must have a really good DME provider. Did you have to pay for the software?
Which insurance company do you have and who is your DME ?
I have CIGNA and APRIA... they are not very patient friendly.
In fact, I will say they are hostile to the patients/customers.
Thanks, Tim
Aside from not ordering the right equipment for me and ignoring my requests, not answering voicemails and faxes, and being snotty to me when they finally answered the phone, the RT said I would never be able to get the SW and reader - they were for DME's only. Boo Hiss - too bad I didn't go to your APRIA - at least I might have gotten what I wanted without having to pay for it!
