Respironics Vista Compatability

Post by Leland » Tue Apr 17, 2007 10:29 am

I just bought a Vista machine and sadly found out that EncorePro 1.6 is not Vista compatible. According to Tech support at Respironics (800.345.6443)only EncorePro 1.8 is, and only then with Vista Business or Vista Ultimate. Mine is a Vista Home Premium.

vista home premium and 1.8

Post by wolftracker » Wed Apr 18, 2007 7:01 am

Hi,

I have 1.8 and Vista home premium and it works fine as best as I can see
Now I have not been able to get EPA to work.

Maybe someone who has a web server can put 1.8 on it and
when James is feeling better... maybe he will work on getting it to work

But 1.8 and Home preimum seems to work fine.

Just follow the read me file on how to install the reader from the
CD not the two factor site.

Wolf

Wolf what version of EPA do you have?

Encore Pro Analyser Version 0.8.9 should work with Vista and EncorePro 1.8

1.6 vs 1.8

Post by wolftracker » Wed Apr 18, 2007 7:40 am

Hi,

I understand .89 works with 1.6
But it only gives me a log in error on 1.8.

It worked fine with 1.5

I have not been able to figure out where EPA gets the log in
name ... but it does not have the correct one for 1.8

I set up no name for the database ... but it has one
under preferences ... and EPA says it has a log in failure

There is a post that I asked James this past week about Vista and EPA.

I am not sure what he said. I will find the post, still looking

Hello again,

I found the topic.

It is one that you had started:

viewtopic.php?t=19072&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

Sorry it was version Encore Pro 1.7 that works with vista and EPA.

Somewhere I read something that EncroePro 1,8 changed the way SQL reads stuff or something, in another post.
