CPAP Beginner Settings Help

Post by cosmicpink25 » Tue May 12, 2026 6:16 pm

Hi everyone,

I was recently diagnosed with Moderate OSA. I've been using a Airsense 11 with the n30i mask.

I've only been using it for a week, but I don't really notice a difference so far, but I do realize it takes some time. It's going well otherwise, sometimes I do wake up and I did have a lot of difficulty falling asleep the other night as well.

Currently my settings are:
Min: 6.2
Max: 10
EPR: 3
Ramp: Auto starting at 6
Humidity/Climate Control: Auto

Should I keep my settings as is or are there any changes I should make? My numbers don't look bad, but the GI of 2 and flow rate charts seem a little off. It has been indicated to me that I may have UARS, so I just wanted to make sure the setting were optimal for now.

Thank you for all the help, I really appreciate it!

Also forgot to mention that I have it set to Soft rather than Standard for AutoSet Response, thank you again!

How do you feel during the day? Energetic? Any excess sleepiness? How do you feel near bedtime? Normal fatigue or stressed? Can you bench press 12 reps at 350 lbs? (Oops. Forget that last one. It was meant for a different forum. )

Your charts look good.
