Hi all. I have been on CPAP therapy for 5 months and was diagnosed severe in REM and supine and mild in side. I have been experimenting with settings (pressure, humidity, temperature, EPR, etc.) pillow positions, nasal sprays, zero-gravity positions a lot. I also use OSCAR too. I do wake up with dry mouth but face masks like f20 an f30i have been very difficult to keep on for over 1-2 hours. Even my n30i which is airtouch I end up removing it too. I have been recording my self with time-lapse feature on camera and see myself removing it very quickly. My leaks seem to be removing the mask rather than leak -> removal, more like removal-> leak. Not exactly sure tho.
I have diagnoses of nasal obstruction and am on Flonase and Azelastine.
I have a Resmed Airsense 11 with pressure 11- 14, sleep study pressure of 14 during titration (not during REM or supine tho), EPR 3, climate control auto, temperature 78 degrees, ramp off, use a chin strap, smartstart on smartstop off, autoset mode on, response standard.
If anyone here could give some advice I would really appreciate it. I am open to DMing to share my OSCAR data.
Yes, I have tried socks, gloves, everything to prevent myself from removing the mask lol!
Thank you very much.
