Healthcare Provider Access

Post by bUU » Thu Jan 22, 2026 9:10 am

I found a post about this from 2022, but I'm wondering if anything has changed since then: Is there a way I can configure the doctor that has access to my data through AirView?

If there is no way to do that at this point, I'm wondering if there is a legitimate and practical way I can clone the SD Card so I can send the clone to her before my next follow-up appointment.

All of the following must be true for a DME or healthcare provider to view your machine data via AirView:
  1. The DME or healthcare provider must have an active ResMed account registered and authorized to access ResMed's cloud-based AirView system, and
  2. Your ResMed PAP machine must have the cellular modem enabled (i.e. not in airplane mode) and sufficient signal strength to connect to the AirView cloud, and
  3. The DME or healthcare provider must have your machine's the 3 digit Device Number (DN) and/or the serial number (SN) printed on the machine label.
Once a DME or healthcare provider has your device's DN and/or SN, the only way to prevent them from viewing your machine is to keep it in airplane mode.

You can clone the SD card on a computer. You just need 2 USB SD card readers. A simple copy from the machine card to a blank card is all that's needed.

Medical providers don't have software to read the cards. They see the analysis on the ResMed site.
