OSCAR review please
I am relatively new to CPAP and I think it is going okay. I am wondering if anyone can take a quick look at this OSCAR screen. I am seeing a median of 7.5 ish most nights and I am set at 7.0 min pressure. I am wondering if I should go to 8.0 min or go to 8.0 with an EPR of 1. Any thoughts or should I just leave this alone. Thank you for your time.

How are you sleeping?
How are you feeling?
I don't see anything on this report that screams "change the settings" at this time.

Re: OSCAR review please
I sleep okay. I have a lot of brain fog during the day but I have pretty high level anxiety disorder so that could really just be that . The last couple nights I have woken up and pulled the pillows out of my nose in my sleep so I'm wondering if the pressure fluctuation is disturbing me and I asked because I'm not sure if I wouldn't sleep better at a slightly higher pressure that potentially would prevent the airway closure before it happened. I just wasn't sure with the median being higher than my current setting and the inability to do .5 increments in the airsense. 11. I definitely wake up less with the ramp feature off and seven is pretty easy to breathe against. I have very mild sleep apnea to begin with so some nights I don't use it at all such as when my nose is congested. My sleep study Ahi is only 6.7. Thank you

Re: OSCAR review please
Some people do seem to sleep better with a fixed pressure or if using auto adjusting pressures they might prefer a really tight range.
Worth trying for sure and just see if anything improves or not.
In your situation your minimum is 7 and the median pressure only goes to 7.58 and I think that the median is going to be too low if you decide to try fixed. If it were me I would try maybe 9 cm...8 cm for sure though.
It won't hurt anything to experiment a little with various settings but do try to give each setting about a week or so before trying something else.
Based on the report itself though...there is no urgent need to go changing anything but I have changed lots of settings over the years and never had any urgent reason to change them...
I have been on cpap coming on 16 years now...so I just have to change something so I won't die of boredom.

Re: OSCAR review please
I was planning to leave it on autoset but just increase the minimum from 7 to 8. So range would be 8 to 13. I'll give it a shot. Thank you.
