Worried I have a defective unit, I have a Resmed Air10 and I can feel the heating element getting warm, just short of hot, but it should be near boiling so I can see visible steam coming out of it while it's running right? I have another device from Amazon that produces a visible vapor cloud while it's active.
How hot is the heating element supposed to be? Should I be able to see steam or vapor coming out of the tube to known it's working correctly? Thanks.
Is my humidifier working correctly?

No, not at all. You are totally wrong in your thinking.
Warm to the touch....not hot nor uncomfortably warm.

So it's not really supposed to be blasting me with vapor, it's only supposed to be warm enough to cause slight evaporation and make the air a *little* more humid?

No....it can't get hot enough to do what you are thinking it should do.Gelatinous wrote: ↑Fri May 23, 2025 6:37 amSo it's not really supposed to be blasting me with vapor,
