I just received a new CPAP, and decided to try a full face mask - a ResMed Airfit F20. I've used a pillow mask for 15 years, but I've had a little difficulty keeping my mouth closed. and end up with dry mouth and pain in my throat.
The trick is this - I take the hose off the mask, put on he mask, THEN, once the mask is adjusted to my liking, I join the mask and the hose. It gives me time to check the fit prior to having pressure in it.
I hope this helps someone.
