Hi, robysue1. Nice to hear from you.

So perhaps you could try to be better about keeping a simple sleep log for a week or two?
Yes, I will do my best.
And for what it's worth, I agree with Nocibur that your current settings don't seem to make much sense. But having said that: Subjectively do you find the VAUTO with min EPAP Pressure = 15cm, max IPAP = 22, and PS = 7 any easier to get to sleep with than you were finding the APAP when your pressures were down in the 8-10 range?
No, I have noticed no difference in that way. I can sleep on pretty much any pressure. My problem is that when I wake up, I feel that I have slept through the night. I do not recall waking up a bunch of times. Maybe once or twice but it's never too hard to get back to sleep. It just doesn't add up to me why I'm so tired during the day.

IMO you need to stop DWing and figure out exactly what you're trying to fix before you try to fix it.
All I want to fix is the daytime sleepiness.

How pissed am I after I just lost a 50-line post.
Rookie.
God's will I guess.

Nocibur,
Is that Epworth Sleepiness score something Iancdub88 posted?
Because you are right: If that's Iancdub88's Epworth score, there is the question of what Iancdub88 thinks excessive daytime sleepiness involves.

Isn't the ESS supposed to be a survey where they ask me questions? They never did that. They just posted that score with the sleep test. It is worth mentioning that I never felt as tired before CPAP though.

Anyway I was thinking looking at a couple things:
Considering fatigue vs sleepiness and there are 2 (at least) entities;
The validity of the oximetry on Watch-PAT. His Mean was 90% (but we gotta math that up, look at the graph on the Watch-PAT report) and he's only 36. Yet he's in Colorado Springs and that looks even higher than Denver. And the physician noted "Sleep Related Hypoxemia". That's different from OSA desaturations. Is the struggle to breathe at some pressures because of low O2 sat?

That's why I want to see the raw data. To see if they screwed the whole thing up.

Yeah to go from AHI 60 to 0.0 and feel worse? No sense. Need real PSG.

I've been trying to reach my sleep doctor today to get one scheduled. Also waiting to hear back on the data. In the meantime, I'm thinking of trying to figure out some settings that aren't as ridiculous. I'll probably drop the pressure.

I mistakenly said I don't in a now deleted post but I remembered I do have an oximeter. When I check it, it's usually 95% which I'm told is normal for my altitude.

OK but you should wear it at night on therapy and load the results into Oscar. The report said "Sleep Related Hypoxemia" so that's what needs to be monitored. It's especially important to do if you're DWing.

See, the problem is once you catch somebody in a lie, then everything he says becomes suspect.

OK then go find it and take it again, how you feel now and how you think you were before all this happened.
