Mask-induced indentations on the scalp
Mask-induced indentations on the scalp
When I awake in the morning and remove my mask, typically there are indentations in my scalp caused by the mask. Sometimes the crevices created feel rather substantial. Do any of you CPAP users experience this? --Lefty

I take it you mean the mask straps cause the problems.
Buy a sports cap, the type used for general athletic feats. It’s the bare minimum, almost like a swim cap( I’m sure there is an actual name for it!)
It’s stretchy, lightweight- possibly nylon and dries quickly. “ Barely there”. If it’s too lightweight, try a heavier weight.
I use one to relieve the pressure of the cpap hose against my head when I have to position the hose up, rather than down, to relieve the pulling down effect of a bleep eclipse hose.
If you don’t like cap idea, a sweatband will work too. Just line it up on head where you think mask parts rests on head.
